a. Help create church budget and monitor usage. Suggest needed additions to accounting system.
b. Monitor bank accounts. Make online transfers between accounts.
c. Payroll โ check payroll figures, create ACH online, monitor IRS payments and IRS quarterly reporting.
d. Train & direct Bookkeeper, and substitutes when away (cut checks, process payroll, etc.)
e. Attend monthly Finance Committee and Church Council meetings as well as Endowment Committees and Extravagant Generosity Team meetings as necessary.
๐ฎ. ๐๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐
a. Schedule usage of buildings and rooms.
b. Quote fees, show rooms and fill out necessary paperwork for potential users.
c. Anticipate and arrange for the needs of upcoming events (equipment, furniture, personnel, food....)
d. Arrange for set up and cleaning of rooms after use.
e. Train and oversee Maintenance Director.
f. Schedule repairs and obtain bids as required by Trustees.
g. Open buildings and respond to emergencies in conjunction with Maintenance Director and Trustees (i.e.: check buildings due to power outage; turn off urinal; stop lift or fire alarm; etc.)
h. General security in being aware of who is on campus and ensuring buildings are locked in the evening.
i. Chain across and reopen Esther entrance daily during school year.
j. Attend Trustee monthly meetings. Communicate with Trustees on urgent and necessary day to day needs between monthly meetings.
๐ฏ. ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐๐๐ผ๐ฟโ๐ ๐๐ฑ๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐ถ๐๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐๐๐ถ๐๐๐ฎ๐ป๐
a. Produce emails, letters, publications for communicating inside and outside the church.
b. Scheduling meetings and events.

a. Schedule and update โworship elementsโ including announcements, โShare the Joyโ and liturgies. Coordinate this with the Pastor.
b. Assist families in planning funerals/ memorials. Assist the Pastor with logistics and bulletins.
c. Coordinate personnel/volunteers for wedding and funeral/memorial services and receptions
d. Collect fees for weddings, funerals/memorials and other special services. Allocate these funds for personnel assisting in these events.
๐ฑ. ๐ข๐ณ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ข๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐
a. Delegate Church Office workflow and accountability.
b. Process updates to Church Windows database. Monitor and control access.
c. Create reports as needed for committees, conference, etc.
d. Plan for mailings.
e. Create forms.
f. Train and oversee Church Secretary, and office volunteers.
g. Purchase from Samโs, etc., biweekly or as needed for supplies. Delegate when possible.

a. Finalize, print and email bulletins as necessitated by Church Secretaryโs schedule.
b. Announcements for Sunday.
c. Weekly E-news.
d. Maintain church calendar and facility usage calendar.
๐ฆ๐ธ๐ถ๐น๐น๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ฑ๐๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป:
Required:
- Heart and Call to serve the Lord Jesus in a Office Setting
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in office administration or church settings may be accepted in lieu of formal education in smaller churches.
- Excellent Communication Skills
- A call to servant leadership
Preferred:
- Associateโs or Bachelorโs Degree in:
- Business Administration
- Church Administration
- Nonprofit Management
- Accounting or Finance
- Theology or Ministry (especially in larger or multi-staff churches)
Bonus Certifications:
- Bookkeeping or Accounting certifications
- Training in Church Management Software (e.g., Planning
Center, Realm, Church Windows)
